…The next update would be coming with a new type of limited currency called “Provision Tokens”, which is distinct from the currently available “Allowance Tokens”. The former currency is what one needs in order to exchange for the items on the “Victory (Part 2)” section of the Armory.
As the redeemable premiums aren’t available on PTS, the free Murmansk’s cost remains TBD. The legendary Soviet captain would likely be 1500 “Provision Tokens” (the new currency, if it’s still confusing).
It would’ve been nice if the currencies were more distinctly named so as to not cause confusion. Even switching one of the names to “Stubs” from “Tokens” would’ve been a simple yet sensible way to distinguish between the two.
EDIT: The Victory event “competition” would also switch to giving out “Provision Tokens” from the current “Allowance Tokens”. This does not indicate that “Allowance Tokens” would be unattainable in 0.8.4, but one of the key methods in acquiring them would be removed.
